Shanna Newbold's Background

Shanna Newbold, MD, ABWMS, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician specializing in wound care. Dr. Newbold has been in practice for over a decade. She is medical director of Jovive Wound Care and also sees patients at Redlands Community Hospital.

Dr. Newbold earned her medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, CA. She is certified by the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery. Her current focus is on creating a health care model for wound care patients that will improve outcomes and lower cost.

In her free time, Dr. Newbold enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, biking and riding motorcycles, with her husband and two wonderful children.
