INTENDED USES: Helps avoid adhesive buildup. Used to initiate-crusting technique.

CLAIMED BENEFITS: Forms a barrier to protect the skin from adhesives, friction and body fluids. Alcohol-free formula for sting-free comfort. Leaves a thin, breathable and transparent film on skin with no offensive odor. Increases adhesion of tapes and wafers for added security and extended use time. Gentle formula prevents irritation and breakdown of normal, and sensitive, intact skin. Sterile, individually wrapped packets for added convenience. Not Made with Natural Rubber Latex

Skin protectants are liquids that when applied on the intact skin around the wound, form a transparent coating on the skin. Skin protectants are designed to protect intact or damaged skin from urine, feces, other body fluids, tape trauma, and friction. They are contraindicated for deeper burns (second or third degree) burns, infected areas and should not be applied directly to the wound bed or to deep puncture wounds.
