We are generally a friendly group ... and give excellent advice when asked. Since you were so specific about the information that you desire, let me just give a few points of advice for this wound:
1. If it's wet, then you need a drying or wicking type of dressing.
2. If it's dry, then the best dressing is one that will retain some moisture to the wound bed.
3. If it is neither wet nor dry, a dermatologist in the best answer ... and, in a pinch, just use a steroid cream. That works 99% of the time.
