Hi, I have a 72 year old male referred by urology for radiation cystitis with hematuria. He has a history of a subdural hematoma, 4mm midline shift which required a craniotomy 3-4 years ago. No neurologic deficit or history of seizure. Are there any concerns other than the possible risk of seizure? I don't have a recent MRI or CT scan.

Hope you are well. I'm posting on behalf of Dr. Mike White. Please see his thoughts below: 

"Based on the available information, as long as there is no active bleeding and no neurological deficits, we are unaware of any contraindications for HBOT in a case like this. However, it may be advisable to discuss with the patient's neurologist or neurosurgeon.
