CLAIMED FEATURES: The Telemade, Patriot LAL provides advanced pressure relief with true low air loss therapy to provide the ideal microclimate for wound healing. Delivering up to 1000 liters of air per minute to the true low air loss surface reduces heat and moisture build-up at the patient, surface interface. Reducing heat and moisture reduces the detrimental effects they can have on pressure, shear and friction. Three modes of operation and simple comfort adjustments allow the user to customize therapy. Static mode provides continuous advanced pressure relief with true low air loss. Pulsation mode provides all the benefits of the Static mode with the addition of gentle pulsation to aid in stimulating blood flow. By engaging the Autofirm mode the Patriot LAL quickly provides a uniform firm surface to facilitate care giving from position changes to transfers.
