Medline Ag+ Powder is an antimicrobial alginate wound dressing.
INTENDED USES: Ideal for hard to dress wounds. It is also an ideal complement when used with other wound dressings.
CLAIMED BENEFITS: Medline Ag+ Powder contains alginate to aid in fluid handling. The powder mixes with wound exudate and becomes a gel that adheres to the wound bed. It removes during wound irrigation, and can be used on difficult-to-dress wounds. Because Ag+ Powder can be left on the wound for up to 5 days, it can be used for individuals who experience pain during dressing changes.
