DuoAmnion is a sterile, single use, dehydrated allograft derived from donated human amniotic membrane. It is an allogeneic matrix cellular and tissue-based skin substitute for wound healing.
INTENDED USES: DuoAmnion serves as a barrier and provides protective coverage from the surrounding environment to acute and chronic wounds. It is intended for external application.
CLAIMED BENEFITS: DuoAmnion is a resorbable graft that acts by providing a physical barrier to the wound. DuoAmnion™ is applied directly to the wound. DuoAmnion adheres to the wound bed with or without fixation. DuoAmnion is fully resorbable and does not have to be removed from the wound bed.
