Algidex AG is a silver alginate wound dressing.
INTENDED USES: To provide exudate management with a longer wear-time and few dressing changes. Provides immediate and sustained antimicrobial activity against a broad spectrum of wound pathogens including methicillinresistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, E. Coli
CLAIMED FEATURES: Formulated with a combination of ionic silver, alginate and maltodextrin to provide immediate and sustained antimicrobial activity against broad spectrum of wound pathogens without including bacterial resistance. Silver is completely and evenly distributed in the ionic state. Does not require the use of sterile water to activate antimicrobial action. Antimicrobial activity for up to seven days. Inhibits baterial cell division which eliminates the development of resistance. Designed to create the optimal moist environment vital to promote wound healing. Easy application and removal. WIll not adhere to wound upoin removal. Non-staining. Non-irritating. Latex Free.
