Allevyn Gentle Border Classic is a silicone-gel adhesive hydrocellular foam dressing.

INTENDED USES: Allevyn Gentle Border Classic can be used in pressure ulcer/pressure injury prevention, including pressure injuries under a medical device.

CLAIMED BENEFITS: Breathable, showerproof top film provides a bacterial barrier, while the dressing remains intact. Highly-absorbent hydrocellular foam core facilitates a wear time of up to 7 days. Easy to apply and remove, and shown to minimize pain and trauma during dressing changes. Suitable for use on fragile skin with multi-way stretch facilitating conformability to difficult-to-dress areas, such as the knee and elbow. Can be cut to size without shedding for flexibility.
