CalciCare Calcium Alginate is a calcium alginate dressing.

INTENDED USES: Silver release may help reduce infection. High absorption dressing for highly exuding wounds; creates moist wound environment conducive to healing. Indicated for full-thickness wounds.

CLAIMED FEATURES: Antimicrobial agent. Releases silver ions in the presence of wound fluid. Easy to use because it remains intact when saturated; dressing can be removed in one piece. Cost effective.
