3M VAC Peel and Place Dressing Kit is a negative pressure wound therapy dressing kit.

INTENDED USES: 3M VAC Peel and Place Dressing Kit can be used on chronic, acute, traumatic, subacute and dehisced wounds, partial-thickness burns, ulcers (such as diabetic, pressure or venous insufficiency), flaps and grafts.

CLAIMED BENEFITS: 3M VAC Peel and Place Dressing Kit is designed to reduce dressing changes by up to 67% per week and reduce application time by up to 61% compared to traditional 3M NPWT dressings and foam and a hybrid acrylic-silicone drape. In a porcine model on open wounds treated with negative pressure wound therapy, the percent of reepithelialization promoted was 1.6 times greater for wounds with the 3M™ V.A.C.® Peel and Place Dressing compared to 3M™ traditional NPWT foam dressing***. 3M™ V.A.C.® Peel and Place Dressing is compatible with 3M™ V.A.C.® Ulta Therapy Unit, 3M™ ActiV.A.C.™ Therapy Unit, 3M™ V.A.C.® Rx4 Therapy Unit and 3M™ V.A.C.® Simplicity Unit.
