Overview: This list contains commonly used ICD-10 codes in wound care, and is an excerpt of the complete ICD-10-CM codes published by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Refer to the topic "ICD-10-CM Diagnosis Codes" for complete lists. 2024 updates (effective October 1st 2023) show no changes from the code set shown in topic "Wound Care ICD-10 Codes for 2023". As it relates to the entire code set, the ICD-10-CM code set update for fiscal year 2024 adds 395 new codes, deletes 25 existing codes, and revises 22 codes (nine of which are to the short title only), compared to 2023. There are also 131 new headers and four revised headers.
Instructions: 1. Click on the header of each column to sort, or use the "search" field to find a specific ICD-10 code. Codes may change so readers may want to check the CMS website for most current information. Source: CMS.gov, 2024 ICD-10-CM.[1]
