Versylene Fresenius 0.9% Sodium Chloride Irrigation Solution is a non-antimicrobial cleansing solution

INTENDED USES: Indicated for use as a sterile, non-pyrogenic, isotonic cleansing solution in general surgical procedures (e.g., irrigation of body cavities, tissues or wounds, indwelling urethral catheters, surgical drainage tubes.) Can also be used to treat wounds and moisten compresses and dressings.

CLAIMED BENEFITS: Isotonic (physiological) saline solution, i.e. with the same molecular concentration as plasma
