ACTICOAT* is a silver-coated antimicrobial barrier dressing. 
INTENDED USES: Indicated as an antimicrobial barrier layer over partial and full thickness wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, burns, recipient graft sites and cavity wounds. 
CLAIMED FEATURES: Used to manage wounds by providing broad-spectrum bactericidal activity against 120+ pathogens in 30 minutes. Proprietary silver technology. Broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against over 120 organisms including 200 strains of MRSA and 5 organisms that carry the NDM-1 enzyme (in vitro). Three day wear time. Provides bactericidal activity within 30 minutes. May help reduce the risk of infection. Can be used on extensive body surface area wounds and over debrided wounds. Low-adherent. Can be cut to size.
