FlowerDerm™ is a human skin allograft. INTENDED USES: Used as a skin substitute for wound covering. CLAIMED FEATURES: It is commonly used for supplemental support and reinforcement of tendons. Provides the extracellular matrix (ECM) composed of proteoglycans, hyaluronic acid, collagen, fibronectin and elastin. The ECM binds growth factors as well as cytokines to stimulate cell proliferation and migration. Hydrated, provided sterile (SAL 10-6) and ready for surgery (right out of the packaging). It has superior tensile strength and suture retention strength compared to other products. Minimizes inflammation, encourages vascularization and cell repopulation. It remodels naturally without the need for chemical crosslinking. OPTIONS: Standard or Non-Meshed. per square centimeter
