INTRODUCTION
The Wound Care Basic Series is a primer for a strong foundation in wound care. The series consists of relevant topics packaged into 2 parts. Part 1 focuses on assessment and diagnosis of pressure ulcers/injuries and Part 2 ( Wound Care Basics Part 2. Managing Chronic Wounds) elaborates on management of chronic wounds.
