Abstract The primary purpose of the Hyperbaric Medicine Service is the treatment of emergent, acute, and electively referred patients whose medical, pre- or post-surgical, or traumatic, condition has the potential to benefit from hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Treatments are provided using the monoplace hyperbaric delivery system. Development and implementation of departmental policies and operational is paramount to ensure the safe and accurate application of each hyperbaric procedure.
