Dr. Loan Lam's Background

Dr. Loan Lam is a highly trained, board-certified wound care and hyperbaric medicine physician as well as a podiatric surgeon. She is also one of the few physicians certified in lymphedema management. She is the Medical Director of Wound Services at United Vein and Vascular Centers.

Dr. Lam has an extensive history of clinical research with multiple publications, poster presentations, and clinical trials dating back to her residency training at Yale. Her research work has included “superbug” infection clinical drug trials with Pfizer and Wyeth to clinical research in clonal amplification (PCR) and parallel sequencing (NGS) of bacteria in chronic wounds. She is a frequent lecturer and clinical trainer on various wound management techniques.
