FlōGraft® Amniotic Fluid-Derived Allograft

FlōGraft® is a flowable (liquid) acellular matrix. INTENDED USES: It is used to protect and promote development of the injured site. It is indicated as an additive in a number of general surgical applications including soft tissue defects, soft tissue trauma, tendinitis, tendinosis, chronic wounds, and localized inflammation. CLAIMED FEATURES: It is a chorion-free allograft comprised of amnion and amniotic fluid derived from prescreened, live, healthy donors. Amniotic membrane and fluid act as a biologic system that ensures symmetrical structure development and growth; cushions and protects the embryo; has a significant defensive role as a part of the innate immune system, and protects the fetus by maintaining consistent pressure and temperature. FlōGraft® retains this protective function as a versatile and manageable liquid allograft. Cryopreserved, injectable amniotic fluid-derived allograft.

Product Information

There are currently a wide variety of bioengineered products available for soft tissue coverage to affect closure. • Human skin allografts are derived from donated human skin (cadavers) • Allogeneic matrices are derived from human tissue (fibroblasts or membrane) • Composite matrices are derived from human keratinocytes, fibroblasts and xenogeneic collagen • Acellular matrices are derived from xenogeneic collagen or tissue
