Remedy® with Phytoplex™ Antifungal Ointment is an antifungal ointment. INTENDED USES: Helps relieve itching, cracking, scaling and discomfort associated with most common superficial fungal infections. For the treatment of most athlete's foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis). For the treatment of superficial skin infections caused by yeast (Candida albicans). Relieves itching, scaling, cracking, burning, redness, soreness, irritation, discomfort and chafing associated with jock itch. CLAIMED FEATURES: Miconazole nitrate 2.0% in a petrolatum base formula. With carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) to help adhere to wet or damp skin. Invisible shield allows for easy monitoring. Ideal for children over 2 years to geriatrics. Enhanced with Phytoplex and other botanicals. Not for use on scalp or nails or on children under 2 years of age. OPTIONS: 2.5 OZ, 6.45 x 2.45 x 1.5

Product Information

It is estimated that 10% to 20% of the world population is affected by fungal skin infections.[1] Antifungal skin care products come as ointment, solutions, lotions, powder, gel, spray or lacquer that help prevent and treat most topical skin irritation due to superficial fungal infections. These products help relieve itching, burning and irritation due to fungal infections including tinea cruris (jock itch), tinea corporis (ringworm), (athlete's foot) and Candida albicans (yeast). May contain antifungal drugs such as miconazole. May contain other substances such as zinc oxide to protect skin from exposure to urine and feces,  vitamins, oils and skin conditioners.
