Rosidal® TCS is a static compression bandage.

INTENDED USES: For use in the management of venous leg ulcers, edema and concomitant conditions.

CLAIMED FEATURES: Safe-Loc™ system ensures correct compression at full stretch. Thin design to allow use of normal footwear. First layer (Rosidal SC) bandage provides compression and padding protection. Second layer (Rosidal CC) provides short stretch compression. The two components work together to deliver effective levels of working compression and low levels of resting compression. Rosidal TCS ensures safe application with the Safe-Loc system. With this feature, both components are applied at full stretch. The Rosidal TCS system components are not made with natural rubber latex, making them a good alternative for people with latex hypersensitivity.

Product Information

Compression therapy is one of the most important pillars in the treatment of venous ulcers. Compression therapy can be applied through compression bandages, gradient compression stockings, gradient compression wraps, and tubular dressings. These devices address the cause of venous ulcers, by helping blood to return to the heart from the legs. There are a variety of types of compression bandage systems available; some are just a single bandage, while others require the application of several different types of bandages to the leg.

Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) covers compression bandages that are considered medically necessary for treatment of a venous ulcer that has been debrided. Medicare has guidelines that establish what is considered medically necessary and how often an item can be used.
