3M™ Coban™ LF Latex Free Self-Adherent Wrap with Hand Tear is a self-adhering compression bandage.

CLAIMED FEATURES: Does not contain natural rubber latex in the product or its packaging. Hand tearable - eliminates the need for scissors or cutting. Sticks to itself without need for adhesive, pins or clips for fast and easy application. Wrap stays in place - no need for frequent readjustment. Lightweight, porous and comfortable for patients. Protect primary dressings. Available sterile and non-sterile. Latex-free. Self-Adherent. Self-adherent elastic wrap that functions like a tape, but sticks only to itself and allows clinicians to tear by hand. Not made with natural rubber latex.

Product Information

Compression therapy is one of the most important pillars in the treatment of venous ulcers. Compression therapy can be applied through compression bandages, gradient compression stockings, gradient compression wraps, and tubular dressings. These devices address the cause of venous ulcers, by helping blood to return to the heart from the legs. There are a variety of types of compression bandage systems available; some are just a single bandage, while others require the application of several different types of bandages to the leg.
