Is NPWT contraindicated in a wound bed where osteomyelitis has been confirmed? I was thinking yes but wanted to confirm. Specifically this is for a stage 4 large sacral wound.

This is a quick answer.. It is contraindicated unless the osteomyelitis is being treated. If they are being treated for osteomyelitis than you can apply the NPWT.
